David had been thinking for a while about what movie he should pick to watch with Blaine, and eventually he settled on Sabrina. (The original one. You can't beat Humphrey Bogart.) So Saturday night, he made his way to Blaine's room, tapping lightly on his door, DVD in hand.

David stayed where he was, too comfortable to move.

"Um...did you want to do anything else?"

"I think it might be getting late," Blaine pointed out as he looked over at his friend.

[smallgayjew]

"Yes, I reckon it is," David agreed. "I suppose I ought to be going, then."

[mediumdrip]

Blaine nodded, but he didn't move to get up to walk David to the door. He was comfortable.

David stayed a moment longer than moved to pull away and get up.

Blaine smiled a bit and then pulled up to walk David to the door. "When did you want to do this next?"

[smallgayjew]

"Next week again?" David asked. "Unless you've got other plans."

[mediumdrip]

"Not at all. I'll see you then."

[smallgayjew]

"You'll see me before then as well, I'd hope," David said as he headed out the door.

Blaine smiled at the tease. "I might be asleep in class so we'll see."

"If you are, I'll nudge you awake," he teased again.

[mediumdrip]

"Thank you," Blaine smiled. "It's nice to know I have someone looking out for me."

"Can't have you flunking out, after all," David pointed out. "Then who'd I watch films with?"

[mediumdrip]

"Oh, I'll still make you watch films with me. There's be no escape from that."

[smallgayjew]

"What, in Ohio?" He's heading back to his room. He really is.

In a minute.

[mediumdrip]

"You can visit Ohio. We have... cornfields."

[smallgayjew]

"Long way to go for a film, though, isn't it?"

[mediumdrip]

"But not too far for a friend?"

[smallgayjew]

David smiled and said softly, "No, I don't suppose it would be."

[mediumdrip]

"There we go. If I fail, you're still going to be able to see me.

[smallgayjew]

"It won't be quite the same, though," David said. "So you're not allowed to fail, even so."

[mediumdrip]

"Well, if I'm not allowed..." he commented thoughtfully.

[smallgayjew]

"Not a bit," David said with a sweet smile.

[mediumdrip]

Blaine chuckles and ends up smiling at David.

David nods, blushing a bit. "Well, um...goodnight."
