[March 15th, early afternoon]
Sitting in the British Literature classroom was a man who could have been mistaken for a student. Though he was sitting at the teacher's desk, he had his sneakered feet propped up on it, crossed at the ankles as he boredly sifting through a stack of papers. His dark gray pants were baggy, and covered in zippers and pockets, and he wore a white t-shirt with the sleeves ripped off, an assortment of vividly colored paint streaks covering it. Occasionally, he'd reach up to run a hand through the strands of dark brown hair that fell over the side of his face, brushing them behind his ear, or look up from the papers as people passed by in the halls.
Faces are made at anyone who dares to stop and peek in.

"Yeah, sure," he chirped, leaning even farther back in his chair to reach for the whiteboard behind him, blindly groping for and grabbing a marker. He held it up. red. Awesome, a color he didn't care about. He tossed it over to the other teacher, not really aiming, so if he misses completely, well... whoops. "Here, catch."
no subject
"Thanks. Um..." he trailed. Well, he didn't know anyone's names yet. "I'll be sure to return it by the end of the day!"
no subject
"Oops, sorry about that." He wasn't, he wasn't at all. "You can go ahead and keep it, I'll never use it. I'm Kalvin Gottfried, by the way."
no subject
"No, that's all right! I do have my own, after all! I just... can't seem to find them right now." He added the last part with a more defeated tone, embarrassed to have overlooked even such a little, and yet still important object. At the very least, he wasn't making a very good first impression.
"I'm Ritsu Onodera," he continued with a small bow, picking his confidence back up. "It seems like we'll be working together from now on, so I hope we get along well!"
no subject
"Fine, we can trade then. When you find them, give me your blue one." He pauses, eyes widened hopefully. "Or purple. Do you have purple? My pack only came with red, blue, and green."
"Oh, I'm sure we'll get along great," he chuckled, moving his feet so that he could lean towards Ritsu, batting his eyes at him. "I'm super friendly."

He didn't think anything strange of the latter comment, and as such, he inadvertently paid no attention to it.

Then he smiled, sliding right back into his flirtatious pose. "So, sweety, is that all you need or is there anything else I can do you for?"
no subject
But just now, did he hear that right? Was he just called "sweetie"...? It was embarrassing to hear, but— like he had said himself, this guy seemed very friendly. Ritsu was sure he didn't mean anything by it, so he let himself forget about it.
"Ah, no! This should be all for now!" he replied. He gave another small bow as he added, "Thank you very much!"
no subject
He really didn't mean anything when he called him sweety, it was true; everyone was sweety, or deary, or kiddo, or whatever little diminutive that popped into his head. He didn't have to try and learn anyone's name, that way. Didn't mean he didn't get reactions to it, though.
"Well, alright, honey," he smiled, giving Ritsu a wink. "If you need anything else, just let me know."
no subject
"Ah, by the way," he added then, turning around to face him once more. "I'm not sure how much assistance I could offer depending on the task, but if you ever need anything as well, feel free to rely on me."

"Well then, I should return to my classroom," he continued. "It was nice meeting you."
